PAIA Manual

This PAIA Manual is published under the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000. It explains the categories of records held for VulaLet and how to submit a formal access request.

Corporate records: registration, governance, statutory, and company records. Customer records: account, subscription, billing, onboarding, support, and correspondence records. Platform records: access logs, audit logs, configuration records, security records, and data processing records. Rental-management records: property, lease, tenant, maintenance, inspection, document, financial, and SARS-supporting records held for authorised customers. Legal and compliance records: policies, PAIA/POPIA records, regulator correspondence, and security incident records. Marketing and website records: public website content, contact forms, waitlist entries, and consent records.

Public website pages, public policies, published pricing summaries, public marketing materials, and documents made available to authorised users through their VulaLet accounts may be accessed without a formal PAIA request.

Submit a completed PAIA Form 2 to legal@vulakomplex.co.za with the subject line “PAIA Access Request”. The Information Regulator’s guidance and prescribed forms are available from inforegulator.org.za.

Requests for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information may be submitted to legal@vulakomplex.co.za with the subject line “POPIA Data Request”. Where the request concerns customer-controlled tenant or applicant data, VulaLet may refer the request to the relevant responsible party or assist them in responding.

Prescribed PAIA fees may apply. Access may be refused where PAIA permits or requires refusal, including to protect privacy, confidential commercial information, legal privilege, safety, or security.
