Is there really a free plan?
Yes — the free plan lets you manage up to 2 properties (4 units total) forever at no cost. No credit card, no trial period. You only pay when you need more units or advanced features like WhatsApp and the SARS statement.
Can I start on the free plan and upgrade later?
Absolutely. Upgrades take effect immediately. Your data, properties, tenants, and history all carry over — nothing resets when you move between plans.
What is a document bundle?
A document bundle (R750 each, or included on paid plans) covers one lease lifecycle: the lease PDF, addendums, e-signature flow, and demand letters up to formal stage. Starter includes 2/year, Pro includes 10/year, Portfolio is unlimited.
Does VulaLet work for properties held in a Pty Ltd or Trust?
Yes. VulaLet supports multiple legal entities from the Pro plan upwards. Income, expenses, and SARS statements are tracked and reported per entity separately.
Is my tenant's data safe?
VulaLet uses access controls, encryption, audit logs, and POPIA-aware workflows for sensitive personal information. Tenants can request a full data export or deletion where applicable.
